This product provides you with coverage for your property (building and contents in a residential apartment) against loss or damage by fire, lightning and explosion caused by gas used for domestic purposes. The policy coverage are Highlighted below:

Loss of or damage to the contents

Additional expense of alternative

accommodation and loss of rent up to certain limit Liability to the public up to certain limit Compensation for death of the participant up to certain limit

What are the covers/benefits provided?

The policy covers:

Loss of or damage to your property due to fire, lightning and explosion caused by gas used for domestic purposes.

The standard fire policy is also extended to cover the following perils:

Aircraft damage and other aerial devices and/or articles dropped therefrom;

Storm, tempest, flood, earthquake, volcanic eruption, subsidence and landslip;

Explosion

Bursting or overflowing of water tanks or pipes, sprinkler leakage;

Impact damage by road vehicles or animals; Bush fire, spontaneous combustion, damage by falling trees or branches and object;

Riot, strike and malicious damage

The duration of cover is one year. You need to renew your takaful policy annually.
