JOB DESCRIPTION FOR RETAIL UNIT MANAGER
JOB SUMMARY:Noor Takaful Insurance Limited is seeking a highly motivated and result-oriented individual to join our growing sales team as a Retail Unit Manager in our Kaduna branch. In this exciting role, he/she will play a crucial part in the recruitment of agents,
identifying and engaging potential participants, understanding their Takaful (Insurance) needs and presenting solutions that will deliver value and protection.
His/her success will contribute to the company’s growth and achievement of sales target, allowing him/her to build a rewarding career in the dynamic Takaful (Insurance) industry.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably within the Insurance industry.
- Minimum of a university degree or an HND preferably in marketing.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving goals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with team members and clients.
- Excellent presentation and persuasion skills with the ability to confidently present complex information in a clear and engaging manner.
- Ability to actively listen and identify client needs, tailoring solutions accordingly.
- Strong product knowledge and understanding of the Insurance landscape.
- Proactive, motivated and a self-starter with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Responsible for driving specific sales target for his/her location.
- Recruiting and hiring new agents to expand the team to meet sales target.
- Provide training, mentorship and support to the agents to help improve their sales skills and performance to meet sales target.
- Provide leadership to the agents, guiding them toward meeting sales goals and targets.
- Track the performance of the agents under his/her supervision, analysing sales metrics and ensuring the targets are met or exceeded.
- Prospect for new clients through various channels, including cold canvassing, networking and referrals.
- Build rapport and develop trusting relationships with potential clients, actively listening to understand their needs and concerns.
- Conduct needs assessments and identify appropriate Takaful (Insurance) solutions that meets client objectives and budgets.
- Present Takaful (Insurance) options clearly and persuasively, highlighting features, benefits and value propositions.
- Overcome objections and negotiate effectively to close deals and secure new business.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process and beyond, building long-term relationships with clients.
- Achieve and exceed individual and team’s sales targets on a regular basis.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor offerings and new Takaful/ Insurance products.
