JOB DESCRIPTION FOR SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER (FINANCIAL INSTITUTION)
JOB SUMMARY:The Sales & Business Development Officer (Financial Institutions) is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with financial institutions to promote and sell takaful products and services. This role requires a deep understanding of the financial services industry, strong relationship-building skills, and a passion for delivering innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to promote products or services.
- Identify and target key financial institutions for partnership opportunities.
- Conduct regular market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities to stay up to date on the industry.
- Collaborate with internal teams to customize Takaful solutions that meet client requirements.
- Provide regular support and training to financial institutions on Takaful products and services.
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to expand business and increase revenue.
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring that all sales activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Certifications: Professional certification such as ACII is an advantage.
- Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in Sales, marketing, or related roles, preferably in the financial service sector.
- Proven Track: Success in driving business growth and developing business relationships.
- Understanding: Strong understanding of the financial services industry, including products and services.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise software.
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills.
