JOB SUMMARY:

The Sales & Business Development Officer (Financial Institutions) is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with financial institutions to promote and sell takaful products and services. This role requires a deep understanding of the financial services industry, strong relationship-building skills, and a passion for delivering innovative solutions.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to promote products or services.
  • Identify and target key financial institutions for partnership opportunities.
  • Conduct regular market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities to stay up to date on the industry.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to customize Takaful solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Provide regular support and training to financial institutions on Takaful products and services.
  • Adhere to all regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to expand business and increase revenue.
  • Negotiate and close deals, ensuring that all sales activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields.
    • Certifications: Professional certification such as ACII is an advantage.
    • Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in Sales, marketing, or related roles, preferably in the financial service sector.
    • Proven Track: Success in driving business growth and developing business relationships.

    KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIS) and PERFORMANCE METRICS:
    1. Sales Revenue from Financial Institutions: Measures the revenue generated from sales to financial institutions.
    2. Number of New Partnerships Established: Indicates the success in forming new partnerships with financial institutions.
    3. Market Share Growth within the Financial Institution Segment: Evaluates the increase in market share within the financial institution segment.
    4. Achievement of Sales Targets: Assesses the performance against predefined sales goals.
